2024: Bushiroad Unveils 4 New Visual Novels
Bushiroad made a revelation about four upcoming visual novels on the occasion of “Bushiroad New Year’s Big Announcement 2024″ event that took place on Saturday. These much-awaited games list includes Riruya to Natsuka no Junpaku na Uso (Riruya and Natsuka’s Pure White Lie), Lilac, DUSK INDEX: GION, and Virtual Girl@.
The game Riruya to Natsuka no Junpaku na Uso will be released for PC via Steam. As per the tagline in the teaser, the game’s storyline is about “A story we’ve both concealed within falsehoods (truth)” time and again.
Another game titled Lilac will be made available for PC users using Steam. The plot centers on a magical school intended for humans and a variety of other species.
DUSK INDEX: GION is a combined effort of the indie game studio Cherrymochi and Bushiroad targeting the Nintendo Switch and PC users via Steam platform. Earlier, Cherrymochi had successfully launched “the psycho-suspense adventure game” Tokyo Dark in 2018.
The game Virtual Girl@ is the output of a collaboration between BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! character designer and leading artist Osamu Nobusawa and the company. The game is under production and set to be released on Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam. Moreover, Seijitsu-Tani is authoring the scenario while the development will be handled by Headlock.
Moreover, during the press conference, it was also disclosed that the very first console game under the title DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) is in the pipeline. They also revealed the official name of the much-anticipated fighting game of Hunter x Hunter.
