2024 Release: Fate/Stay Night Game English Remastered Version, 1st Ever (Updated)
During a livestream of “Fate/stay night’s 20th Anniversary,” the Type-Moon Games made an announcement. It revealed that Fate/stay night Remastered, an updated version of the original Fate/stay night visual novel, will be officially available for Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam all across the globe in 2024. There has been no previous official English release of the original game. This remastered version will take inspiration from the Fate/stay night [ Réalta Nua] port with enhanced content. A trailer for the game was also shared by the company.
The game will display a choice of languages including English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
The original version of the Fate/stay night visual novel was introduced for PC in 2004 and received a port to PlayStation 2 in 2007.
The Fate/stay night [Réalta Nua] was published on the PlayStation Vita platform in 2012, as an upgraded port with enriched content, an all-new opening by ufotable, and deletion of adult content. In 2015, a mobile version was also launched.
Studio DEEN previously developed an anime series based on the Fate/stay night in 2006 which was followed by the production of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works movie in 2010 and a TV show in 2014, exploring The Unlimited Blade Works storyline from the Type-Moon‘s game franchise . Aniplex of America launched both television anime seasons and OVA in Blu-ray Disc format in the years 2015-2016, and later in July 2020. The television anime series and the movie was also launched in North America by Sentai Filmworks. In 2009,Funimation had also launched the television series.
The first film of the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel series, known as Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. presage flower, debuted as #1 in the Japanese box office in terms of both earnings and audience in October 2017. It was screened in the US in the last two months of the same year. Following this, in January 2018, the film was then screened in Canada. The film series’ second installment, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly, hit the theatres in January 2019. Audiences in the United States and Canada could catch the film’s screenings from March 2019. Lastly, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel III. spring song, the third movie in the series, was premiered in Japan in August 2020. July 2021 saw the movie being screened in theaters across the United States.
