3rd Season of Nights with a Cat Anime Announced

On Thursday, which is recognized as Cat Day in Japan, the team behind the anime adaptation of Kyuryu Z‘s manga, Nights with a Cat (or Yoru wa Neko to Issho in Japanese), announced the production of a third season for the series. Alongside the announcement, the team also released two images and a fictional “Neko Neko Shimbun” newspaper advertisement to herald the arrival of the upcoming season.

The main cast who are resuming their previous roles include Ayahi Takagaki as Kyuruga, Satoshi Hino as Fuuta-kun, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Pi-chan.


The debut of the anime’s initial season took place
in August 2022,
with the 30-episode run wrapping up in January 2023. The second
season began in March 2023 and consisted of an additional 30 episodes. The original team behind the first season returned for the continuation. The anime is also viewable on its official

Yen Press is publishing the English version of the manga, and they gave the following description of the plot:

Fuuta, after a hard day at work, always looks forward to spending time with his newly adopted cat. This easygoing and charming comedy accurately captures the quirky habits and behaviors of domestic cats, presenting a delightful slice of life with an endearing furball!

Kyuryu Z initially shared the manga on an individual Twitter account where it gained traction among followers. It is now being published in printed form by Kadokawa in Japan.
