With his noble status annulled, Allen is banished from the Duchy of Westfeldt. Despite this, Allen holds a secret; he was a heroic figure in a past life, and is excited about the opportunity to live freely. However, his destiny as a hero refuses to leave him alone when a chance encounter with his former fiancée takes place.

Shin Kouduki began the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in January 2018, and TO Books started publishing the series with illustrations by Chocoan in October that same year. Karasumaru initiated the manga adaptation of the series on the Nico Nico Seiga website in 2019.
