In this narrative, adulthood is marked by the receipt of “blessings and gifts from the Gods,” which determine their lives. Allen is a young man who didn’t receive any of these blessings and is thus persecuted and ousted from his home. He opts to live a peaceful life on a far-off island. Unbeknown to others, Allen still retains his past life’s memories (and powers), in which he was a hero!
A manga adaptation by Karasumaru was launched on the Nico Nico Seiga website in 2019. Its eighth volume was published on November 1st.
