“Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig” Anime’s 12th Episode to Air February 5
The official website for the animated series anime Butareba: The Epic of a Human Morphed to Swinehood, originally adapted from the light novels Fervor the Porcine Organ (Buta no Liver ni Hi wo Tsukero) revealed today that its twelfth episode, the final one, is slated to air on February 5th.
The plot revolves around an ordinary otaku who finds himself in a pig’s form in a fantasy world after eating a raw liver from a pig and losing consciousness. He then embarks on an adventure with Jess, a kind-hearted young girl who has the ability to read minds.
Masayuki Takahashi(assistant director on Higehiro, Reincarnated as a Vending Machine, Now Roaming the Dungeon) serves as the director at studio project No.0. Script supervision is led by Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Struggles with Communication, Graceful Witch) while character design is done by Susumu Watanabe (Did I not Request Average Abilities in my Next Life?! , Yôcho Shachô R). Music composition is by Kenichiro Suehiro (Working Cells!, Underground Creature Slaying, Rebirth in an Unknown World) and MAYUKO (the musical theme creator of Cells at Work!).
Sakai initiated his story, which was illustrated by Asagi Tôsaka (The Occult Bladesmanship of Excalibur Academy, Female Air Force) on March 10, 2020, after clinching a second-place gold prize at the 26th Dengeki Novel Prize in 2019.
