movie
confirmed on Tuesday that the French singer-songwriter

will be back to present the ending theme of the new film.
Clémentine
had previously performed the song “Étoile et toi” (The Star and You) for the

film, and an updated arrangement of the same song for the ”
Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu
.” The statement did not say if the ending theme will be an original composition by
Clémentine

The film is set to debut in Japan on January 12. The film is scheduled to screen in North American cinemas this year.

The Kizumonogatari anime initially rolled out in three parts: Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu in January 2016, Kizumonogatari Part 2: Nekketsu in August 2016, and Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu in January 2017.

Tatsuya Oishi, who was at the helm of the Bakemonogatari anime series, directed the triad of films at the anime workshop SHAFT. Akiyuki Simbo was acknowledged as the chief director. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka created the characters. Yota Tsuruoka supervised the sound, and Satoru Kousaki crafted the music.

Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin‘s Monogatari literary series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel narrates the tale of how the main character Koyomi comes across the female vampire who transforms him and his quest to revert to his normal life.
