English Dub Released for Original Kimi ni Todoke Anime

The manga chronicles the journey of a character, Sawako Kuronuma, who is colloquially known as Sadako (adapted from The Ring) due to her long black tresses and light skin, giving her a gloomy countenance. A bond forms between her and the well-liked Shōta Kazehaya, eventually blossoming into a romantic relationship.
Narrative of Shiina’s primary Kimi ni Todoke i> manga, began in Shueisha‘s Bessatsu Margaret shōjo magazine in 2006, and concluded in November 2017. The manga was compiled into its 30th book volume and was officially released in March 2018 by its publisher, Shueisha. Shiina worked on the spinoff manga, Kimi ni Todoke Bangaihen: Unmei no Hito (Kimi ni Todoke Spinoff: Soulmate), in Bessatsu Margaret from April 2018 until May 2022.
With 36 million copies in circulation (including digital copies), the manga series has repeatedly featured as one of Japan’s highest-selling manga. The English version of the manga is published byViz Mediaa, with the publication of the 30th volume taking place in December 2018.
Both earlier seasons of the TV anime were released on home video byNIS America. A live-action film version was presented in Japan in 2010. Netflix launched a live-action series adaptation in March 2023.
The anime will welcome its third TV anime season. This upcoming season, which is the first new one in 13 years, will be accessible solely on Netflix all over the world in 2024.
The series will be directed by Kenichi Matsuzawa from The Prince of Tennis, The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These atProduction I.G. Tomoko Konparu from Nana, Nodame Cantabile, Uta no Prince-sama – Maji Love 1000% is returning from the first two seasons to oversee the series scripts, and will co-scribe these with Michiko Yokote from Shirobako, Gintama. The music will be composed by the artists from S.E.N.S. Project, who previously worked on xxxHOLiC, My Love Story!! .
Returning to their roles in Kimi ni Todoke – From Me to You Season 3 (Kimi ni Todoke 3rd Season) are Mamiko Noto (in the role of Sawako Kuronuma) and Daisuke Namikawa (as Shōta Kazehaya), with Production I.G handling the animation.
