Idolm@ster Shiny Colors Anime Unveils Key Visual

Anime television series, based on Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s browser game: The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, uncovered a brand-new key visual last Saturday. Furthermore, they reconfirmed that the anime will start to screen on TV in April.

The series plans to broadcast on TV Tokyo, BS11 and Nippon TV.

Prior to the TV release, the anime, split into 12 episodes, is being showcased as three distinct films in theaters. The initial movie ran in Japan from October 27 to November 16, and achieved 40,284,350 yen (approximately US$268,100) in its debut weekend.

The second film premiered in Japan on November 24 lasting until December 14. The third film has been screening from January 5 to January 25. These films will be presented in 75 cinemas across 47 different prefectures in Japan.

The anime, being directed by Mankyū at Polygon Pictures, is supervised and script written by Yoichi Kato. The title of the anime’s opening theme is “Tsubasa Gravity”.

Bandai Namco Entertainment‘sintroducedThe IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors browser game in April 2018. This free-to-play game allows players to train idols and compete against other producer-players via live concerts. The game further led to the creation of concert events, merchandise, CDs, and radio programs.
