Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash Game Trailer Features Yuta Okkotsu, Suguru Geto

On Thursday, Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a brand-new video for the upcoming game, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash (also known as Jujutsu Kaisen Senka Sōran). This 2v2 fighting title, which draws its inspiration from Gege Akutami‘s Jujutsu Kaisen manga, offers a look at characters Yuta Okkotsu and Suguru Geto in this latest video clip.


The game is slated to release on platforms such as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC by Steam around February 2. Players are given the option to place digital pre-orders for the game on the Switch.

Story mode incorporates scenarios from the “Curse Womb Must Die” and “The Origin of Blind Obedience” arcs, as well as sections from Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Looking forward to greater content, the Deluxe Digital Edition of the game offers DLC encompassing material from the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” arc and the Jujusta 2024 Baseball side game. The Digital Ultimate Edition also comprises a digital artbook, soundtrack, and outfits drawn from the anime’s introductory ending theme song. A Physical Collector’s Edition, available only at Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s online store, includes an exclusive 12×22 wall art piece designed by series creator Akutami.

Byking Inc. is entrusted with the game development.

The roster of playable characters features Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Ryomen Sukuna, Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki, Panda, Aoi Todo, Hanami, Jogo, Kento Nanami, Mahito, and Eso & Kechizu.

The game, according to Bandai Namco Entertainment, is explained as:

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash offers fans an opportunity to experience the original narrative and enthralling action of Jujutsu Kaisen. In this setting, protagonist Yuji Itadori, along with a memorable cast, battles against the monstrous Curses plaguing present-day Japan. The game’s visuals match the unique aesthetic of the series, comprising over fifteen fan-favorite fighters and showcasing striking action and dynamic animations.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, players can form their own 2v2 teams, executing an array of powerful combined attacks and combinations. Different character matching allows variable synergies and power dynamics. As players win battles, their fighter’s power level increases, unveiling stronger attacks as they advance in the game.

Akutami initially unveiled the manga in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in March 2018.

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime debuted in October 2020 with a total of 24 episodes. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime movie released in Japan in December 2021, which is based on Gege Akutami‘s manga prequel story, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.

The anime’s second season landed its premiere on July 6. Crunchyroll distributed the anime in tandem with its release in Japan. The second season ran for two continuous quarters for a half-year. The anime is poised to adapt the manga’s “Culling Game” (Shimetsu Kaiyū) arc in a forthcoming sequel.
