On Friday, the company Atlus started broadcasting a fresh promotional video for its much-anticipated game Persona 3 Reload. The trailer provides a sneak peek at several city settings within the game, including the Iwatodai shopping plaza and the Paulownia Mall.

The release of Persona 3 Reload is expected on February 2 and will be available for various platforms such as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One as well as PC via Windows and Steam. Notably, the game will also be accessible right from the start for Xbox Game Pass users.

Fans can anticipate an entirely redesigned battle system in this latest installment compared to the original Persona 3 game. The game also boasts state-of-the-art visuals and gaming mechanics, a reworked soundtrack, as well superior audio quality with fresh English voice-over included. See below for a list of the new English voice-over casting for the game:

In the Japanese version of the game, Bin Shimada will take over the voice of Igor, a role originally voiced by the now deceased Isamu Tanonaka. The voice of Elizabeth will be reprised by Miyuki Sawashiro.

As described by Atlus company, the game promises an immersive experience:

Assume the role of a transferred student suddenly caught in extraordinary circumstances and journey through the elusive hours between two days. Unlock an amazing power, delve into Tartarus’ mysteries, stand up for your friends, and make an impact on their memories that will last forever.

As confirmed by IGN, the game’s staff affirms that the remake will retain elements from the original Persona 3 release, but will not incorporate content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, inclusive of the female protagonist.

Persona 3’s maiden launch was in 2006 for the PlayStation 2 gaming console. An additional disc titled Persona 3 FES was released the following year, in 2007. In 2009, Persona 3 Portable became available for the PlayStation Portable.

Beyond the realm of games, Persona 3 also drew inspiration for the creation of a four-part anime movie series, which premiered between 2013 and 2016.
