New Trailer for Animated Shorts Meitô “Isekai no Yu” Kaitaku-ki~

The official site for the animation shorts adapted from the light novels “Revolutionary Chronicles of an Otherworldly Sword – In another world, I was a Hot Spring Maniac. My reincarnation endowed me with a Glorious Hot Spring Life” by Konao Menrui has shared its official trailer today. In this trailer, viewers can hear character voices and the musical theme, Baby love! Baby please!, performed by GuilDrops.

The anime
will premiere
on the night of January 11th on
Tokyo MX
, followed by a release on January 17th on
BS Fuji
(both at 1:00 AM). The platform
will offer a special uncensored version, named “fogless version”, starting from 1:05 AM on January 11th. The same day, the anime will also debut on
d Anime Store
platform and will be released on other platforms on January 15th. The light novels will also be adapted into an audio drama.

Vtubers Koito Ria and Kuramoto Kyôkô make their voice acting debut with these projects.

Tomonori Mine (episode director for Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!!) is the director of the anime while Yôhei Kashii (Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!, TenPuru) is supervising and writing the scripts. Minori Homura is designing the characters.

The story focuses on Yoshizô Yukawa, an enthusiastic follower of hot springs who discovers hidden natural springs to boost the local economy. Unfortunately, Yukawa falls off a cliff and dies, only to find himself reborn in a different world, thanks to a minor deity located in a small shrine nestled between the rocks. Along with the Princess guarding this place, Mayudama, Yukawa continues his quest for hot springs in this new world. He eventually finds himself basking in hot springs surrounded by animal-girls and elves.

Menrui released his story in September 2019 through the Novel Up Plus platform while HJ Novels, a label owned by Hobby Japan, published the novels. Masahito Sazaki offers a manga adaptation on the Fire Cross service. The second volume was published on December 28 in Japan, distributed by publisher Hobby Japan.
