Original TV Anime Bang Brave Bang Bravern Unveils Cast, Theme Songs, 2nd Promo Video
Cygames and Cygames Pictures, in collaboration with Masami Obari, made a significant announcement on their official website about their original TV anime, Bang Brave Bang Bravern (also known as Yūki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern). Thursday’s revelation confirmed that Kenichi Suzumura will be voicing the massive robot character Bravern, who has the ability to converse in human language. Suzumura will also lend his voice for the anime’s opening theme song “Ba-Bang to Suisan! Bang Bravern.” Other voice actors revealed include stars Ryōta Suzuki (Isami Ao) and Yōhei Azakami (Lewis Smith), both of whom are confirmed to perform the closing theme song “Sōen no Shōzō.” In addition to the star-studded cast announcement, the website released the second promo video and a new visual.

Furthermore, the website showcased an artistic rendition from Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, a former member of the boy band SMAP and one of the performers in the series, in celebration of the premiere episode:

The narrative revolves around Lewis Smith and Isami Ao. Lewis serves as a pilot for the U.S. armed forces, operating the armored humanoid weapon named Titanostride. During a battle, he encounters Isami Ao, who is the ace pilot for Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force.

Obari, known for his works on Gravion, Gravion Zwei, Angel Blade, and Battle Arena Toshinden is sitting in the director’s chair for this new robot series at anime studio Cygames Pictures, known for Blade Runner: Black Out 2022 and Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Keigo Koyanagi, who has worked on The Rising of The Shield Hero, is in charge of the series composition. The anime’s character design is being handled by Kouichi Motomura based on original blueprints by Kamokamen known for Wasureenu Majo no Monogatari. Mechanical design is being provided by MORUGA and Mizuki Sakura, and Kenji Teraoka is playing the role of the production designer.
