Overlord Sei Ôkoku-hen Film Unveiled in Video Teaser

Kadokawa unveiled a fresh teaser video for Gekijô-ban Overlord Sei Ôkoku-hen today, the next animated movie birthed from the anime Overlord. The launch is scheduled for later this year.

Kadokawa confirmed Naoyuki Itou will be back as director at Studio Madhouse. Kadokawa Animation will take care of its distribution. In terms of voice cast, we can anticipate the return of Satoshi Hino, Yumi Hara and Masayuki Katou as Ains, Albedo and Demiurge respectively.

Kugane Maruyama initiated the original novels online in 2010, and Kadokawa‘s label Enterbrain published them in print format, with artwork by so-bin, beginning 2012.
