The anime Wonderful Precure! (the word used in katakana for the title is “Wandafuru,” with the “Wan” portion possibly signifying “dog,” or it could be indicative of the onomatopoeia for the noise that a dog makes in Japanese) unfolds in a place called Animal Town, where humans and animals coexist. The story follows the life of Iroha Inukai, a second-year junior high school student, and her loyal dog companion, Komugi. One day, during their regular walks, the duo stumbles upon a mystical creature named Gargal, who initiates a frenzy in the town. Subsequently, Komugi morphs into a Pretty Cure known as Cure Wonderful in order to shield Iroha.

Chihaya Yoshitake will sing the show’s opening theme “Wonderful Cure! evolution!!.” The closing theme “FUN☆FUN☆Wonderful DAYS” will be performed by Ami Ishii and Moeha Nochimoto.
