Seven Deadly Sins Anime: 2nd Main Trailer Reveals More Four Knights of the Apocalypse Cast

The official online platform for the television anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki‘s The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse (Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi) follow-up manga started streaming the second main trailer of the anime, unveiling additional characters and their voice actors on Sunday.

Moreover, the anime’s website also disclosed the second main visual for the series:

The just announced characters and their respective cast members include:

Kōki Uchiyama voicing the character Lancelot, one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse who is hidden as the fox Shin, and is the offspring of Ban and Elaine


Ayumu Murase as the voice of Tristan, one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and the child of Meliodas and Elizabeth


Fairouz Ai lending her voice to Gawain, the enigmatic niece of King Arthur and one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse


The anime first aired on a newly made programming slot for anime on TBS and its 27 associated networks at 4:30 p.m. (3:30 a.m. EDT) on October 8. The anime is set to run without intermissions for half a year. Netflix initiated streaming of the anime from January 31 onwards.

The second phase of the anime began its run on January 7. JO1 is responsible for the new opening theme song “Your Key” for the second phase, and Zakinosuke. has been assigned the ending theme song “Mikansei” (Unfinished).

Maki Odaira (Pokémon Journeys: The Series) is at the helm as the director of the anime at Telecom Animation Film, while Shigeru Murakoshi (I’m Quitting Heroing, Zombie Land Saga) is supervising and penning down the series scripts. The anime’s characters are designed by Youichi Takada, who was the key animator for Lupin the Third: Part 5, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood . The main theme is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, who is also tasked with creating the music. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is managing the production and planning aspects.


Suzuki kick-started publication of the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing is dispensing the manga in English digitally, in addition to physical copies. The company’s description of the first volume is as follows:

Percival, who has always resided with his grandfather in a remote sanctuary called God’s Finger that towers above the clouds, cherishes the simple life but secretly yearns for adventure. However, when an intruder—who shares a surprising link with him—destroys everything he holds dear, Percival’s life takes a sudden turn.

With no other choice left, Percival embarks on a mission to locate the one who robbed him of everything. During his quest, the sheltered boy learns about many aspects of life he was previously unaware of. Fortunately, he encounters friends along the way who support him. But how will they react when they discover Percival’s destiny…and its link to the world’s end?

The manga recently wrapped up its first part.
