A recent release of Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine’s fifth edition for the year announced that a new manga adaptation will be initiated by Jako, highlighting the light novel `Watashi no Hatsukoi wa Hazukashisugite Dare ni mo Ienai` (My First Love is So Embarrassing, I Can’t Tell Anyone) crafted by writer Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrator Hiro Kanzaki. The manga version is scheduled to kick off in the succeeding issue, the sixth, on the 8th day of March.

The narrative is centered on Chiaki, a character endowed with academic brilliance, sporting prowess, and wealth along with a stunning younger sister. While he excels in multiple facets, being attractive to women is not one of them. Chiaki plans to change his perceived image in high school, but instead wakes up as a woman, abandoning his plans. Curiously, his sister also undergoes uncanny transformations.

Kadokawa delivered the original version of the light novel on the 10th of January, under the imprint of Dengeki Bunko.

This light novel draws its end with the 13th volume in 2022, well-drafted by Fushimi and Kanzaki. After the successful conclusion of `Oreimo` (Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai) light novel series, Fushimi initiated a new light novel series titled Eromanga Sensei in 2013. Both projectile series of novels were adorned with artistic illustrations by Hiro Kanzaki, and both were subsequently made into popular anime versions.
