Yoshimasa Hosoya Cast in The Dangers in My Heart Season 2
The TV anime adaptation of Norio Sakurai‘s manga known as The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) has announced on Wednesday via their official website that Yoshimasa Hosoya will voice the character of Anna Yamada’s father in the series’ upcoming second season.
The anime debuted in Japan last Sunday.
With returning cast and crew, the second season will feature a new opening theme song, “Boku wa…” (I Am…), performed by the band Atarayo. Meanwhile, singer Kohana Lam will sing the ending theme song “Koi Shiteru Jibun Sura Aiserunda” (I Can Even Love My Loving Self). Lam had previously sung the ending theme “Suu Sentimental” for the first season as well.
In its inaugural season, the anime was first aired on TV Asahi and its affiliates channel under the “NUMAnimation” programming block, starting April 1. The anime was also streamed simultaneously on HIDIVE as it premiered in Japan.
Kyotaro Ichikawa is a boy who conceals his true self beneath a facade of a disturbed teenager leading a psychological thriller. He spends his days devising ways to disrupt the peaceful lives of his classmates and yearning after Anna Yamada, the class beauty. Yet, he is far from the troubled teen he wants to be perceived as and Anna too, isn’t as ordinary as she seems!
Sakurai introduced the manga in Akita Shoten‘s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine back in March 2018. Shortly after, the manga transitioned to Akita Shoten‘s Champion Cross website in April 2018. When Champion Cross merged with Akita Shoten‘s other manga site Champion Tap! to form the new platform Manga Cross in July 2018, the manga relocated to the new site. The manga’s ninth compiled book volume was published by Akita Shoten on November 8. Seven Seas Entertainment will release the manga’s eighth volume on April 23.
